Testing Engineer

Job description

• Set up test equipment, test programs and product testing standards.
• Support daily SI Testing activities for high-speed cable/cable assembly products.
• Monitor and ensure stable operation of test equipment to meet production plans.
• Guide and supervise technicians in maintaining fixtures, jigs and related testing equipment.
• Coordinate with PE, QE and Production to analyze product failures, identify root causes and propose improvements.
• Coordinate with NPI Engineers during new product introduction, including preparation of test fixtures, test conditions, test programs and testing standards.
• Manage components, spare parts and replacement materials for testing equipment.
• Carry out RBA-related requirements and other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical-Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with direct Testing experience.
• Experience in functional testing/electronic functional testing.
• Experience in SI Testing for cable, cable assembly or high-speed cable is preferred.
• Experience using VNA, Oscilloscope, Cirris continuity tester or related electronic test equipment.
• Knowledge of test programming/test programs; Matlab or LabVIEW is preferred.
• Good Chinese communication skills for work.
• Ability to analyze failures, solve problems and coordinate with engineering/production teams.
